Duties and responsibilities
- Leads and Pitches
- Ensure all opportunities, warm, hot leads (including from conferences) and pitches have been input into Salesforce.
- Ensure all prospective clients have been sent tranScrip’s capabilities and relevant therapeutic area brochures.
- Support with setting up pitch rehearsal and pitch meetings.
- Support with drafting/updating slides for pitches, and ensuring all information is stored in SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Arrange calls with clients as required.
- Attend internal and external meetings to provide or gather updates as appropriate.
- Provide updates to clients through the process from lead to pitch to proposal and update Salesforce accordingly in a timely manner.
- Deal with incoming queries from clients or internal team members.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure any leads are followed. through the business development process and are appropriately tracked.
- Marketing
- Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages.
- Communicating with clients and vendors.
- Assist in updating website and using analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns.
- Assisting in the planning and logistics of industry events, conferences and trade shows, including travel bookings.
- Manage Salesforce Campaign Manager software.
- Support with internal communications and careers marketing as required.
- General
- Act as the conduit between the Marketing and business development team, to facilitate seamless transition from prospect to client, with accuracy of tracking.
- Ensure interactions with client are captured in Salesforce.
- Prepare presentations for internal meetings as required.
- Update contacts directory and prepare results as required.
- Obtain information from CLIO and the Project List as requested.
- Perform client background research and analysis as requested.
- Meeting attendance and minute taking as required.
- Deal with incoming telephone calls.
- Schedule meetings and TCs as requested.
- Arrange travel as requested.
- Support with managing the Marketing, News & Events mailboxes.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent – a degree in a scientific, business or marketing discipline is advantageous.
Personal attributes
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding and professional written and oral communication skills.
- Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g. Salesforce) is advantageous.
- Flexible attitude towards working individually and part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to prioritise projects and communicate with respective managers effectively.

Location
