Paul joined the board in January 2021. He was part of the MBI team that created Concept Life Sciences (CLS), a provider of integrated drug discovery, development and consulting services. The business created a platform for rapid growth, completing several acquisitions. CLS became a world leading contract research organisation and was acquired by a strategic trade buyer in 2018. Paul served as CFO and latterly as CEO of CLS.
Prior to CLS, Paul was the CFO at Synexus Clinical Research, a clinical research company focused on the management of later stage clinical trials. He was part of the MBO team that took the business private and helped establish Synexus as the global leader in the sector.
Paul has held senior roles with GlaxoSmithKline plc and KPMG’s healthcare consulting team.
He is also the chairman of biological preparations and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
